Blame the poor state of modern popular fiction, but it's amazing the number of women I meet to claim to live a glamorous, single woman in the big city lifestyle even though they flat-share with four Australians in Tooting and drink cocktails with suggestive names in chain pubs on a Saturday night.

It's forbidden for me to interfere in human history, but if I could spin the world back and reverse time, Brian Wilson would still be in bed rather than on the Palsy-victim revival circuit, Lennon would have been shot 3 times instead of two, and Tony Burrows would have his own permanent dressing room in the Top of the Pops studio.

The Burrows sounds is the sound of the English summer; of the Flake 99 and Vauxhall Viva.

Tony Burrows was a singer, songwriter, arranger, composer, manager and also provided the voice for Huckleberry Hound.
