La Maison Ou J'ai Grandi - Francoise Hardy
French pop culture isn't all
crappy films about taxis and coffee table pop-electronica. To prove it, here's Francoise Hardy, singer-songwriter,
Mrs Jacques Dutronc, the star of Jean-Daniel Pollet's Devil at My Heels and one of le leading lights of the Parisian 'ye-ye' pop scene of the 1960s.
I'm not sure what kind of
maison Hardy lives in today, but I bet she lives in une machine à habiter outside of Paris. Somewhere modern, minimal and modular with reinforced concrete pilotti, a roof garden,
ceiling-to-floor windows and curved walls.
