Just My Soul - Smokey Robinson
Smokey highlights the plight of the Native American people and just about gets away with it.
In March I was nearly the last white man to die at the hands of the Apache:
I was doing 110 on the M5 between Taunton and Exeter.
'Chants of the Native American Tribes' was on the CD player. The trippy incantations of the elders along with the lullaby rattle of the tin of
mixed fruit travel sweets on the dashboard sent me into a ecstatic state of semi-consciousness...
I woke quickly, regained control of the car and sent up thanks to my ancestors for the miracle of Dynamic Stabilty Control (DSC).
